The next in our Profiles in Healthcare blog series features Danielle Gabelli, Curation Health’s Director of Human Capital. Culture is an important part of our teams and the way we serve our clients. The three C’s of Curation Health’s culture are curiosity, collaboration and clarity.

Q: Please tell us about your role at Curation.
A: I am the Director of Human Capital. I oversee Human Resources (HR) and Talent Acquisition for this amazing company!

Q: Can you share some insight on your professional background before joining Curation?
A: I have 26+ years’ experience in HR and Talent. I started my HR career as a recruiting coordinator and have been in management for more than 18 years. I have experience in most industries but healthcare specifically for the past 12 years.

Q: What made you join Curation?
A: I have a passion for the healthcare industry, and like my other co-workers here at Curation, we are making our footprint and our passion shows. This group is innovative and smart. I also love the family feel.  It is exciting to join a fast-growing company and to see what is in store for us.

Q: Is there a specific value that you align most with based on Curation’s company values?
A: I would say Collaboration.

Q: Why?
A: It takes a village!  Every single employee at Curation brings something to the table. By collaborating, we are able collectively pool our talent and deliver for our clients while working in an amazing culture.  We empower each other, and we still manage to remain humble.

Q: What do you envision for our recruitment/talent efforts in the next 6-12 months?
A: Based on our current volume- GROWTH!  As we continue to gain more satisfied clients, our need for resources will grow. I am passionate about employee referrals, attracting top talent and ensuring we maintain the amazing culture here, so that will be my main focus.

Q: Why do you think we bring value to our clients?
A: Our platform and advisory services are amazing. Every client and need is different, so we are able to adapt to each need and really build a specific tool so that our clients will gain the most value in the least amount of time. I believe that we are changing the landscape of value-based care adoption.

Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
A: I love spending time with my 2 teenage girls.  I also love attending concerts (pre-covid), watching football and going to the beach.

Q: Anything that we didn’t ask that you’d like to add?
A: I am currently enrolled in my master’s program and will have my Masters Human Resources Management in Dec 2021!
